  • [FONT=&quot]Thank you! Here is the pick you have purchased:
ROOT TRUST OF WINNERS featuring the PINNACLE PLAY – Prediction: Contrarian—-Liberty
    ——
    Chairman’s—-Utah St
    ——
    Root Reserve—-Wisconsin

It’s just a case of the Badgers playing in the best conference in college basketball concerning their win/loss record. One could go 3-3 or 0-6 their last six games and still be playing great basketball. Such as the case with Wisconsin. Their six losses were to Michigan, Illinois, Purdue, and Iowa three times. No shame there. The Badgers were able to hang with the best of the best, they shot well from the field field, and when they got to the free throw line they were automatic – they’ve made 27 of their last 29. North Carolina is a turnover machine, and the Badgers lead the nation in fewest turnovers per game.
The Tar Heels normally can’t shoot a lick from three and they’re even worse from the free throw line and played in a conference that was really down this year. Wisconsin has the experience you want in the NCAA Tournament, it has the good guard play, and it has the best scoring defense in the loaded Big Ten. The Tar Heels will get more rebounds which will keep things relatively close but rebounding is not an issue the last three minutes as the game slows down and foul shots are a premium.
    ——
    Gold Reserve—-San Diego St

Syracuse is a decent team on the free throw line, it’s occasionally deadly from three, and comes up with a whole lot of blocks with its inside presence. They’re not the best of their former self and it also has moments when the offense just doesn’t work at all. On the other hand, San Diego State is one of the nation’s ultimate three-and-D teams, leading the Mountain West in three-point percentage, finishing eighth in the nation in scoring defense, and with a style of play that demolishes offense by attacking the ball and forcing a whole lot of steals. This isn’t one of Jim Boeheim’s monster teams and San Diego St can shame most zone defenses with their three point shooting.

    ——
    Pinnacle—-Purdue

The Mean Green was tied for fifth in Conference USA’s regular season, but it went on a four game run in the conference tournament to push its way into the fun tournament. That’s where it stops against a team from the Big 10. There’s not a lot of size, and the team kept winning even though the shooting wasn’t great over the last few games of the conference tournament for North Texas. Purdue is big, tough, and should have no problems owning the boards. Be shocked if the Boilermakers aren’t at least a +10 in rebounding margin. North Texas doesn’t crank up the O. It can shoot, but it’s a measured team that won’t bomb away from outside. One big Purdue burst might be enough to put this away. Additionally, Purdue should own the inside as it keeps on pounding away for points. North Texas does not
get up and down the floor quickly and can not make this game a shootout. Let’s look at North Texas being here more of a fluke in the conference tournament and offers very little opposition for Purdue.
