UCLA virtually shut down winger Wagner (a projected #1 draft pick 1-10 from the field) and PG Smith (1-7 from the field) and didn't have much of a problem with center Dickinson (11 pts), all top notch players, held Michigan to 49 points after Michigan scored 76 vs Fla St, 86 vs LSU, and 82 vs Texas.

Gonzaga's 3 comperable players are probably better, but still, seems like UCLA had every player cornered, Wagner and Smith driving to the hoop were always forced out of their path, shut down...

Previous game, UCLA held Bama to 65 pts before overtime.

Is the UCLA defense a whole lot better than we understood (at least, than I understood)? Pac 12: 13-2 ATS in the tourney? UCLA getting 14 points?

What Gonzaga does is pass well, and pass often. No ball hogs, they spread the floor, effectively and efficiently. Breaks down even the best Defenses...

UCLA is in trouble, they’re playing with a chance to hopefully cover the spread, and that’s about it. Maybe they do...

Agree.

But UCLA just stopped three big school conference champion caliber high powered offenses and getting 14. Plus they have 4 or 5 very good shooters.

Not talking money line, looking at the two touchdown spread.

If the Zagas take a while to figure UCLA defense there should be some Opportunity live betting the Bulldogs

Lol it wasn't because of the UCLA defense that you spotlighted in your comments several times including the title of this post. Regardless, nice if you played the Bruins. I did.

Acutually, the UCLA defense was one of the keys to their covering by 11 points. You even pointed out on your little thread that they play excellent team defense. UCLA covered all the Big Dance games mostly by double digits, they were amazing.

I also pointed to the 13-2 ATS record for the Pac 12 (final is 14-2) which is statistically significant, not some worthless trend, I abandoned UCLA vs Michigan but other than that I have ridden the Pac 12 for the last 11 games they played and I mopped up. I pointed to this tactic (looking at conference ATS after the first round) in an early thread from a legitimate intelligent poster that you trashed with your usual nonsene. I am not a poster and do not have time to do this all the time but I like to chime in with intelligent handicapping approaches.

You actually hit some winners on your most recent thread, usually you lose 3 or 4 in a row then disappear, this time you got em right.
