YTD
Sides 0-1

Overall 1-1 50%

Will try to get on the winning side with these picks. Not a big NFL capper so will keep the plays to a minimum for now.

Baltimore +3

Kansas City/Baltimore Under 44

Philadelphia +3.5

Tennessee +3

Like Bal and Ten SU, but will stick with the points.

I love BAL SU and the under.

not sure about TEN but I see your reasoning.

RPM it's a market approach based on value as well as a sort of due factor. KC will not continue to roll forever, nor will they continue to put up huge numbers. Buy low, sell high. KC was 2-6 on the road last year BAL was 4-4 at home for starters. Throw in the typical handicapping approach, track the money, and look at which way the books want us to go. All indicators point to BAL. That is some of what I look at, and I think NASDAQ does things similarly. But dont let me speak for him...

not stalking you nasdaq...just likin` what i`m seein`...

philly has struggled...but are a notoriously strong road club...particularly as a dog....a great spot for them coming off the bye vs a weak rushing club....it`s a huge game for philly....i know they aren`t the same club, but i`ll take the 4(buy half) and take my chances...

k.c. is everybody`s darling....i`m gonna wait a day or 2 before grabbing this...i`m hoping it goes up...

i`ll say this....k.c. needs to get out fast on the ravens...because if it stays close for awhile we`re gonna finsd out what that k.c. defense is made of...i see jamal lewis getting 30+ carries if this one stays close...and 2 years removed from his last knee surgary,he looks like a monster...may be the best combination of speed and power in the nfl right now...he`s a a horse....and he gets stronger as the game progresses...

if boller doesn`t give it away and the ravens are in it at the half,i think they`ll wear down k.c....they are healthier than they`ve been all year....

holmes will get his as the run "d" isn`t quite as strong as prior editions..still solid,though....that`s why i suspect that this may also go under....

keep an eye on ed reed....may be the next rod woodson...a coach on the field...a nose for the ball...i guarantee he`ll block more than one punt this year...

this is the game of the week,imo....

good stuff,nasdaq...

RPM-
Baltimore
Plain and simple, I like Jamal Lewis and Ray Lewis.

They have a premier RB in the league going up against a KC D who had the luxury of playing a weak Texans team last week. They will be in for a surprise. I still think the Baltimore D is tough as nails, and if there is anyone who doesn't want Holmes to put up big numbers, it's Ray Lewis. KC uses the run to set up the pass, but that will change this week.

Don't have a problem betting a home dog getting a FG either.

Tennessee
This team had a nice win last week and McNair seemed ok. George was able to get some yardage and I really think the key for Eddie George is to be confident in himself. He is a great RB and a few wins will help electrify him. I think the Titans are gelling at the right time b/c they are a streaky team and they come in and play the Steelers in a tight one.

Thank you ATX and sphincter, excellent commentary from the both of you. Good luck this week, will need you guys to help me early on while I get my feet wet.

As RPM says above, wait on Baltimore if you can. You should see at least 3.5, maybe even some 4's later in the week. Everybody seems to be liking KC at -3. Let them bet it! Baltimore's points won't be going down from 3, they will only go up. If you like the Ravens, it's worth waiting for.
Good Luck to you.

I agree, I will prob get a better line, but I like Baltimore to win SU in this one. A FG is enough for me, may lay a bet on the ML later in the week instead.

Hey guys, thanks for helping out us rookies with your explanations. I held off KC today because of that reasoning.

Also, I thought Denver may roll but Detroit with Mariachi is starting to look good so your advice regarding value helped me out there as well.
