NCAAF: 3* Southern Mississippi +10 vs. Troy Trojans 7:00PM
ANALYSIS: The Troy Trojans are on the road in Mississippi taking on the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles Saturday night. Troy is coming in off a home loss to Liberty losing 21 to 13. That game had a misleading final score the game was not as close as the final score would indicate. Troy’s offense couldn’t really do anything with the Liberty defense they managed just over 230 yards on the day.
Southern Miss is off an easy win against an overmatched Grambling team defeating the FCS opponent 37 to 0. Even though the Trojans returned twenty-one players from last season they just aren’t that good. Our numbers tell us this one will be closer than expected, The TPR Index projects a point advantage of just 5.23 points. The MM projects a point differential of -5.35 points against the current line range. The SIM Matrix has the Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles with a 69.7 percent advantage against the oddsmakers number in this contest. We are taking the points with the Eagles on Saturday night in Mississippi.
