A better question is how did he get the job in the first place

I'm all for giving the guy a chance but there were other better options for the Eagles

There's not a single reason that could justify going for 2 there. And don't give me the BS that I"m just mad because I'm on the Eagles. I'm not going to lie, going for 2 is very very weird. it wouldn't have mattered if TB went down and scored, but of course they didn't.

I'll give you that. Can't be mad at it but a little weirded out by it.

There is nothing weird about it. He may be a terrible coach but the math is the math. Statistically you win the game more often by going for 2 there.

The only answer and im not saying its right, but by going for two allows you to win in reg ( assuming you score again)and not have to beat brady in ot if you convert. if it had failed you can go for two again on the next score to force ot

Bruce Ariens made a horrible call tonight. Up 14, 4th qtr, defense dominating

And he goes on 4th and 2 from midfield

Exactly! People don't understand basic math.
I had Tampa -6.5 but that was the right move. You play to win in regulation not rely on OT

I think the biggest problem is the inconsistency
You want them to do it when it benefits you and they don't
But when they do it hurts you
Feels like a screw job sometimes

Next week, Sirianni discovers the screen pass. He proves how bad of a head coach he is by making himself the offensive play caller.

Exactly Bud. like I said, I was on the Eagles, but I lost a live bet under 49.5. Either way, you can't say that going for 2 wasn't questionable.

Not questionable at all, it’s been explained by a few people above

lmfao. Where was it explained? Oh its not questionable because the “math is math.” Lmfao.

LOL, ok. You know what is questionable? When a team is down by 14, they score, and then kick the extra point? Why the fuck are they kicking the XP?!?? They should be going for 2! Every goddamn Sunday I see it like 20 times and it just doesn’t ever make sense! These coaches kicking extra points are defying math!

The NFL is a scripted reality show. The math is the math argument doesn't hold water when coaches continue to be inconsistent with their decisions when to go for 2. If the math is the math and their chart tells them what to do, then these coaches should follow it more consistently.

The weekly "decisions" by coaches is the genius of the show, it creates discussions and keeps the masses engaged.

+this was a bonehead move
im thinking Brady talked him into it
all it did was give the Eagles hope and it worked for them
