are not up yet, we see a lot of value in tonights games,, will run the numbers in our mathematical formula again in order to post the highest rated picks at the best value,, Math and Money Management, sort of my 60% winning plan or the M&M Plan if you will..... Last night we had a 3-0 night- running our posted record to 18-10.. so were around 64% or a little better -- less than 30 games in,,,, and we are now just getting enough data to really have some solid value plays. this hasnt happened for us in the NBA as of yet...... Mdrams, ill post my picks later today, i believe the score is now 42pts for you and 31pts for me,,, at least we are both on the plus side and i think you really have had some solid plays....

first off my numbers line up with your picks, none scored high enough in my ratings sytem to warrant a play however i do like all your picks ever be it so slightly, and good money management on your part, no matter who wins i can tell that your better than average... i like how you have done your money management....... My posted picks and challenge picks for today are as follows... StLouis (ML)-1.20, TB+1/2 (-1.05), LA+1/2 (+1.15) La/Sj over 5 (-1.10) and Phil (ML) -1.35,,,, 5 plays -- the philly play is a little against my money management philosophy in laying 1.35, my top limit is 1.30 to lay, however philly scored well and im hoping to find it -1.30 sometime before the game, but for our contest here, ill play it,,, Stl may lose but clearly the better team here and maybe the best team in NHL right now. Tb clearly the better team both stl and tb scored over 100 in my ratings system,, Once again i feel LA is the better team in the SJ game, scoring a 107 with the 1/2 goal added in,, philly only managed a 64 and is my lowest rated wager tonight,, the over on the LA/SJ game scored a 97, in case anyone is interested......

something like 14-3 on the sides and 4-7 on totals, i lost track of it,,,, im sorry but i know its quite a bit better on sides, thats why i havent done many totals lately,, i did one last night and hit it and im doing 1 tonight,,,,, the minn/sj game scored a 97, which is really high in my ratings system so i must play it...

I am adding Det -1.5 at +115. I know the Hawks do well against Wings, but I think Detroit is angry about its last few games and will take it out on Chicago tonight.

yeah i mean LA/SJ scored a 97,,, im doing baskets and hockey now so its tough keeping it straight in your head,,,, ive got 10 games going in all, 5 in hockey and 5 in nba,, tonight is really my first night in the nba with my mathematical system,, remember my only goal is to be 60% every month, i dont do any locks or guarantee's.. as for detroit tonight, guess you may not want to hear this, but im a value player and for me there is never value in laying 1.5 goals,, or in laying odds over 1.30.. so i find no value in det tonight, doesnt mean that you wont win,,, as for numbers detroit scored a 52 on our moneyline, and lower on the puckline and with over 2.50 favorite on ML there is nothing there for me,,,, i wish you luck but i think detroit is a reach in this one at -1.5....

Last year with some success I started to fade -1.5 favourites.
But this year, the -1.5ers are winning more than losing, Detroit in particular, and when the price is a +. then I reckon even a 50% rate will earn some money.
However you are right we should be wary, and monitor this very closely to see if the trend reverts to last year where taking the +1.5 dogs was more the way to go.

didnt say i liked Chi +1.5 goals, there is never value (for me) in taking what i think is the losing side,, just meant to say, that in looking at that game - i quickly marked it off the board, however i do think detroit wins 3-2....

You make a very good point, S, that just because one doesn't take the fave at -1.5 goals then the corollary is automatically valid (i.e. that you then without further analysis take the underdog at +1.5).

Sometimes the best play with this 1.5 in hockey (and similarly with the runline in bases) is no play at all.

That's the kind of money management / self discipline myself and I dare say a good number of other wager makers need to lerarn more about. That's why sites like this and guys like you are informative.

my best to you,, ive been around for 16yrs now, i play with a decent bankroll about 1% of it on each play as the season progresses, i start with $80 per play in the nba and nhl, if i hit 60% over a series then i raise the wager, hopefuly by first of year ill be around $125 per game,,,,, we will see.....
