ONE BIG GAME to BOUNCE back on Friday

In the NBA, the Champs (Lakers) - who appear average this season will face the red hot Dallas Mavericks. Similary to the NBA, tonight the Champs in the NHL (Detroit Red Wings) - who ALSO appear average this season will face the red hot Dallas Stars at the American Airlines Center.

The Question tonight is, will both Dallas teams (Stars and Mavericks) be the NEXT successor as "Champions" for their respective Sport?

Detroit Red Wings at Dallas Stars
--> The Dallas Stars has an excellent 16-6-5-1 record compiling a near perfect 10-0-1-1 Home record (never lost at home in regulation time). Dallas is also first in defense at 2.03 goals/gm against. Where as the Red Wings are mere mortals posting a 6-5-1-0 road record. Turco has been spectacular - 0.936% SV, and his counter part, Cujo has a descent 0.911% SV. Well, everything points to Dallas and they should have the slight edge here. However, their last meeting in November ended in a 3-3 draw, and I expect a good hard fought hockey game here (playoff-type atmosphere). Can the Detroit Red Wings (Champs) really bounce back after a dismal start to their season and win back-to-back? Stats point to the Dallas Stars this season, won't they win?

In my personal opinion this game can go either way and at Detroit plus $$, its too good to pass up. If Cujo can outplay Turco (like he use too back in the Leafs & Oilers Uniform) this can be a win. Nonetheless when all the marbels are on the line, the Red Wings (champs!) will step up tonite!
