Was wondering if somebody could tell me where I could find the starting goalies for each game. Feedback appreciated.

read local day of game papers; watch pre- and post-game shows; get feel of coaches preferences.

Thanks for the information, but was hoping that there was a site that had all the starting goalies listed. I guess I just have to search the internet more of the different sources. Definitely on your Islanders under today.

be VERY careful with site/info groups sending out starting goalie before game time. most are unreliable, and nothing is worse than betting the avs confident because your goalie source said roy was starting and then finding out aebischer is in net. many outfits get over by saying "belfour likely starter". thats crap. if they dont know they should say nothing. some clown at a las vegas computer info service tried to explain getting three goalies wrong in a week by saying "the coach changed his mind". sure.

so if a site is posting starting goalies, and you are waiting to make a play, try to verify the info by watching the pre-game first.

ive suggetst to prescription they start a seperate forum called "buzzer beater" where guys can contribute late info: late line moves, late injuries, goalie changes, etc. try to get everyone involved to help everyone else. what do you think?

Thats a great idea starting something like that here. If it worked, it would draw a lot of hits to this site. In the meantime...the goaliereport.com isnt bad.
Even bettor though, would be to try and get the sportsbooks in Vegas to change their policy and accept bets with starting goalies as in baseball with starting pitchers. It would take some heat from a guy such as yourself with your credentials as you do to make a change in the industry such as this. Why not give it a whirl?

listed goalies in LV will never happen. they dont want to book pucks as it is, never mind doing the extra work. besides, the PLAYER has the advantage, since those doing the work have the edge over the books.

im thinking about putting a goalie page in the hockey zone which - if it goes up - will be pretty good and updated daily. but not likely to be up until after new years.
