we are trying to set up something for the site that lists everyones age and city.
lots of people only visit the sports forums and not the offshore.
posting this link in the sports forums gives those people the opportunity to participate.

with the amount of participation this thread has generated, i would say THIS IS AN IDEA THAT IS PRODUCTIVE, AND WILL HELP THE MEMBERS HERE FEEL GOOD ABOUT COMING TO THIS SITE.

hostile? just questioning the value. i dont get it! you yourself said it was a "harmless idea" (to me a euphimism for waste of time). why would guys listing age and where from bring people to site? i dont know, maybe im wrong for feeling guys would want something a little more substantial. offer something unique that they cant find anywhere else. maybe start a thread saying: Bobby Bryde thinks this is a stupid idea and thinks we should concentrate on putting effort into some things that help inform/educate/entertain.

sure i had a great idea last month which everyone i spoke to loved (inc. two prescription employees) and thought would be terrific and NOT found anywhere else but hey it was turned down (maybe because it was me who suggested it?).
and dont be giving me any of that stuff being "family". when was last time YOU entered "the hockey zone"? or even encouraged anyone on any of these forums to go there?

I make the rounds into the different forums (you know the ones I mean), and have found that Hockey has the least information or hadicapping tools among the big 4 sports, Football. Baskets, bases, and of course Hockey. I don't know what idea Bobby had to improve this Forum, but I can't see where it would hurt. Whenever I talk to bookmakerss or linemakers at various sportsbooks, I am told that Hockey is no longer the put up a line, and forget about it sport it used to be. I feel there is more interest in betting on hockey than ever, and the Forum that has the most to offer the hockey better is going to get the most traffic. The Hockey Zone is probably the most informative sub-forum for hockey betters on the internet right now. My question to The Prescription is: why not improve The Hockey Forum and make it a MUST SEE for anyone even thinking of plunking down a bet on a hockey game????
