Jack,

It's a common betting option with the spread betting firms but I've never seen it at a traditional bookie before.

It seems that the spread betting firms expect a higher aggregate number of goal-minutes than the book where you found the line: Sporting Index have a qoute of 140-150 and IG Index have a quote of 145-150.

Let me get this straight. This bet means that if you get two goals on say the 4th and 50th minute, than you win the under, and if you get say three for example on 45th 60th and 70th it's over?

You're right Jack. Very tough to handicap. Plus, there's a lot of built in juice. When the number falls in the middle, the book locks up the over and the under. Sure, it's a good price in the middle there, but there's still zilch as far as value goes. I don't even look at the prop.

Perhaps it's hard to cap but then again it's not much different from capping the total number of goals. I mean, if you like the over 2.5 goals there's a good chance that you also like the over 123.5 minutes...

But like Bob says, the juice is so high that there's probably never any value in these prop bets.
