Well enough of this Premiership,Bundesliga
crap.As far as i'm concerned these friendlies
are where the action is,so without further
ado here's my first play.

Faroe Islands-Liectenstein
www.football.fo www.lfv.li

The bet: draw @3.80
Liechtenstein @9.30

why?? Well first i must explain, none of my
outs had this game with handicap betting,so
i'll juggle the units on the draw/win options.
Second,Liechtenstein's fabulous Stocklosa
Brothers look nothing like one another.Maybe
their adopted.
thirdly, anyone have tickets for this matchup??

Ciao from maria, who asks you for help with
other less important friendlies.

rumania v. Greece.

two bets i like for this one:

That greece won't lose, watched those two play a few months ago and greece i must say faires slightly better than the rumanians although less of a "team" and more due to individual players. But i too cant find the handicap so i might play draw/away.

The over, last time around the game went over easily from the first 25 mins, greece can score and they can also take goals easily so the over in the short or at least in the long run with the greek national team is a winning proposition, again i don't recall though gamebookers to have an over/under for this game (i hammered it real good last time around...) /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

as soon as i finalize what i am going to play and where i ll post up...

yes peter, maybe i can book a tour on one
of the many fishing vessels in the faroe
islands???ever been??!!

I do have a few more plays for these friendlies.
These are Subjective plays,no analysis of
the numbers included.Just my feelings about
the other players' feelings about these friendlies. In other words,i'm betting against
the Top countries who played in this summer's
world cup.Well, the ones who will playing
away, and thus travelling when they might rather
be home Pumping water out of their flooded villas.

Bulgaria over Germany @3.80
Hungary over spain @5.00
Scotland over Denmark @2.60
Tunisia over France @4.70
Finland over Ireland @2.50
and last but not least, and although it
doesn't fit into my scheme neatly because
Brazil is home

Paraguay over Brazil @9.50

Ciao from maria, who is feeling rather
brilliant at the moment, but perhaps this feeling
will subside in two days.

jack- they have handicaps over at gamebookers.
Both 3 way and asian flavours.
think greece is getting +1 on the three-way cap
and +0.5 on the asian cap. /infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
Pinnacle posted their asian caps as well

I'm a bit of a wild-life freak and amateur photographer and can imagine nothing better than spending a week or so in the Færoes.
Course, the talk right now will not be of the guillemot or shag but how to break down the Leichtenstinian defences.
They've got their hands full this week in Torshavn. /infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Is the Faeroes--Liechtenstein (hope I speeled that almost right) game at the "new" ground (where Germany plays the Friendly next month) or the "old" ground (where Scotland plays the qualifier three days later)? Scotland manager Berti Vogts (there's a great Scottish name, but that's a story for another day) is furious that the Faeroese have scheduled the qualifer for the old ground. If you guys are playing at the old ground I guess the pitch is a disaster area (according to MacVogts anyway). How would that impact the game?

i will assume your asking whether the fixture
is being held at the new national stadium
Torsvollur located in torshavn
www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_pictures/europe/faroe_island/torshavn_torsvollur.shtml

or in the old national stadium svangkard located
in toftir.a pitch that was at the mercy of
any weather that might be perched immediately
offshore www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_pictures/europe/faroe_islands/toftir.shtml

Since the supporterreise trip--on the liechtenstein football home page--makes no mention
of toftir i'll presume the game is at the new
stadium in Torshavn.I assume the hardy fisherfolk
would have had a bigger edge on the dodgy pitch.
Too bad i missed the trip, there was a nice day
trip to the famous Bird Cliffs on the agenda.

Ciao from maria, liechtenstein squad has some
vivid names as well.Head coach is one Ralf Loose

just that you know...germany is only playing with the reserve. 6 or 7 player of the wm-team will not play tonight. so everybody is not expecting a good match here in germany and it would not be a surprise if it's only a draw or even a loss

thanks. I was leaning towards Germany, but was afraid of their possible lineup for this game.
good teams tend to go with reserves when it comes to friendlies.
so, no play for me, and thanks for the info buddy.
