An online investigation conducted by BBC in cooperation with Netcraft internet security firm to track malicious attacks on UK's top 20 betting sites has detected a total of 33 outages in two weeks.

Just another argument why online gambling should be legitimized and regulated in the US. Imagine having the government on the side of the BM's investigating and prosecuting the DOS attack SOB's. Imagine them taking it seriously. Only in an ideal world...

Ppeter, it may be down the road some years but it would not surprise me to see on-line legal sports betting in the US (maybe in next 10 years). I understand horse bettors may soon be able to bet at Vegas books on-line from anywhere in the US soon, it's not much of a jump to add sports to horses on the betting menu.
