This is the thing, mine just died, and I want to buy a GSM phone. They are telling me that the GSM technology is going to be available around Dec 15th.

You guys know how things work in this country, and this new GSM thing might not be available untill next year. So I don't want to buy a new phone and not being able to use it until Lord-knows-when, and I dont want to buy a regular phone and change it 1 year later.

So I was thinking I could rent a phone for a month or two, and as soon as the GSM is ready buy a new one.

Do any of you know where can I rent a cell phone???

So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned - my conclusion, right? Well, my conclusion is: Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time. It's just not worth it.

That's why I posted this!!! I knew there was somebody that could get me one, but I didn't remember his name

I tend to agree with the Dr. on this one

With what you will pay in rent u can buy a new phone.

You don't have to buy a new phone when GSM comes out. Your current phone will work no matter the technology.

You are right, I just read that info on the paper. Besides, old TDMA or whatever phones will have almost the same services as the GSM, so I guess I'll just get a new one

Thanks anyway
