Just a question for you wise owls... what kind of interest do you think that I would get if I established a web-based database housing all of the Deadbeat names, aliases, home numbers, cell numbers, drivers lic numbers and ss #'s on each friggin' stiff that we encounter? I know that in my personal book it is 90-95% those new clients that I take on that have stiffed someone else. Very seldom am I probably the first book they broke their cherry on.

What do you guy's think?

Interesting idea. Couldn't hurt.

It might help some of the NEW books from wasting time and money.

I personaly think that those deadbeat stiffs are champion customers somewhere else - especialy if they are new

a website with their name is a guarentee that they will NEVER be a good customer for you

come on guys the object of this business is to turn these customers - we all know how to do this - it is our jobs to catch the good ones and it takes a lot of avg to bad ones to find good etc etc etc

I might add that if I get stiffed it is usually a bad choice on my part or on the part of one of my clerks - there fore MY fault

We built on online database with client login just for this purpose around five years ago. I know others have done it to. We still have this code to date with many names. Jademan has it correct. Many will see the database as a negative.

others will see it this way;

1.Some books would enter their big clinets in the db so no one else would take their action.
2.More desperate books would farm out the names and see the deadbeats as free leads.
3.And wait until a player finds out they are in the db. You will hear about it.

I personally didn't find anyone who willing to pay a subscription fee, but plenty of books will share info as we all hate scammers.
