in a fit of semi-delusional, 'i-can't-lose' mentality, i bet the house (even threw in my dog for good measure) on the Eagles. well, this morning i'm not so sure and requested that the bet be reduced by 35%. this is the first time i've ever asked this be done. even though the book is completely and fully within their rights to refuse, i actually expected them to honor my request.

my question: anybody else ever tried to reduce a wager before gametime? what was the result? (i remember reading a post by a mod who was successful with this at least once.)

thanks!

I don't like doing it all the time but will if the line hasn't moved and it is a good customer.Never hurts to ask.

But the 4 to 4.5 today might have killed your chances
