played 6 hours and won 219, won big on the last hand. Flopped top set with 10s, turn came Q, and a guy raised me, I reraised, he called. He ended up showing down Q10, another guy with K3 was involved too. I was either up or even the whole day pretty much, but cashed out 219 ahead, I was trying to get a rack full all day and that last hand put me over 500.

nice job. congrats. i don't play much 5/10 online but when i go to b&m casinos that is the minimum that i play since the 3/6 seems sooooooo slow (not enough action).

just got back from caesars, a friend turned 21 last night now i guess. I got rolled on playing 5/10. I played alright, but the river killed me. I got beat on the river over 10 times, no exaggerating, I have played there over 15 times, and this is the worst I have ever seen. Flushes were killing me, aces on the end, anything. I was always ahead, runner/runner. I threw my cards straight up one time it was so frustrating. ended up losing all of that 219 and another 100. oh well, tourneys start back up in august, no limit!

if that (10 river beats) happened online people would say the game was "fixed." It's amazing....some folks who have never played in a casino before will play online and yell that the software is rigged. I've seen and taken my fair share of improbable beats online and in B&M.

I once played in Atlantic City at a 5/10 table and won the 1st 4 of 5 hands that I was dealt. It was crazy, I was dealt all sorts of monsters, the winning hands I recall were:
1) Flopped four flush that hit on the turn when someone had a set.
2) A flopped boat that I slow played, the other guy flopped trips.
3) A flopped set against some hand that I never saw.
4) Don't remember.

It was nuts. The first winning hand saw some action. The other three saw so much action I almost pissed my pants with laughter at a) the fact that I was hitting huge hands all pretty much in a row and b) that people thought I was bluffing and they were betting into me and reraising since "it is impossible for you to have me beat after you just took down the previous hand."

It was good fun. Of course I went home a huge winner since I used the momentum to carry me all night long and was able to bluff a bit since I was betting and showing down awesome hands...that will get you undeserved r-e-s-p-e-c-t.

yeah respect is hard to get at a 5/10 table. It is impossible to get it from a lot of players at the game. The funny thing is, the guy sitting beside me was rolling and he was the only other there I recognized as a "solid player(tight aggressive)." He was winning. But he was the only one who respected me, I got him to lay down top pair against me, he thought I had AK, The board was K 7 10 4 10 He flopped 2 pair kings and sevens. He thought I got him at the end with my AK, so he folds, then comes the funny thing, another guy calls and he has pocket aces, he never raised once. He never raised the whole night, who would have thought it. Oh well, that guy said I was a solid player and that is the way it goes sometimes. He said I would get it all back and more. I hope.
