Hoping to get some big money on the holiday.

STL/CHC Under 9 +104
Pitchers: Tomko/Wood
I capped it at: Under 8 -115
Wood is just incredible. Hot as ever. Tomko has had 3 straight excellent starts. STL just played 4 games against SF and only hit well in one of them (against a struggling Rueter), so you'd think Wood should limit them to a run or two. The Cubs just finished off a 4 game series with Philly and scored 9 runs in 4 games. Tomko and Wood both pitched well against their adversary earlier in the year. The wind is blowing out in Wrigley, but not nearly enough to affect the line this much. JD Drew is doubtful as well.

Baltimore +148
Pitchers: Helling/Escobar
I capped it at: Baltimore +110
I hate betting on Helling, but the situation calls for it. Escobar is the better pitcher, but Baltimore is hitting better, playing better (Toronto just dropped 2 of 3 to Detroit), and at home, I'll take my chances on the O's.

Cleveland +139
Cleveland/Minnesota Under 9 +100 2 Unit

Pitchers: Davis/Reed
I capped it at: Cleveland +120; Under 8 -120
Davis is en fuego right about now. Has been for a while. Reed is a solid pitcher who has been getting hit hard by tough teams lately, but is still pretty good. Neither team is hitting too well right now, both about average. First game of the series was a 4-1 Cleveland win. Minny has lost 7 of L10. Cleveland has been .500 their L10. Cleveland hotter team, hotter pitcher, offenses even. Gotta like Cleveland and the under. I see a 4-5 run game.

Montreal +165
Montreal/Atlanta Under 8.5 -105

Pitchers: Ohka/Ortiz
I capped it at: Montreal +135; Under 9 -130
Ohka and Ortiz are both red-hot right now. Blazing hot even. Montreal is hitting much, much better right now though as well as winning 6 of 10 L10 compared to ATL getting just 4 W's in L10. Montreal beat Ortiz 5-0 earlier this year, worth a shot in what should be a low-scoring contest that could head either way.

Anaheim +163
Pitchers: Sele/Mulder
I capped it at: +150
Both teams are hitting about the same, and Anaheim has won more games their past 10 despite facing slightly weaker competition. Mulder is the better pitcher, but Anaheim hits lefties well and beat him twice last year. Sele has pitched great on the road this year, and both Dye and Chavez may miss this game. Enough value for me to take a shot.

Seattle -1.5 -121
Pitchers: Garcia/Santos
Seattle is hitting well, as always, and Garcia has been pitching very well the last month or so. Texas is hitting decently, but Santos is sketchy as a pitcher. He does not impress me at all. Seattle has some insane record in Game 1's (22-5 I think), and this game should be a runaway.

Detroit +160
Pitchers: Cornejo/George
I capped it at: Detroit +125
George is garbage. On the year he has an ERA of nearly 7 and a WHIP of 1.75. Cornejo isn't anything great, but his stats are much better, and with both Joe Randa and Mike Sweeney missing the game today, the Tigers should compete. KC barely won 3-2 in the first game of this series, and the current hitting for both team's is close to even. Very very nice price here.

Arizona +110
Pitchers: Batista/Ishii
I capped it at: Arizona +100
Arizona is hitting great and winning nearly all their games. LA is hitting poorly and on one of the worst losing streaks of recent memory. The pitchers have identical ERA's this year (2.91) with Batista holding the edge in WHIP. Zona is too hot to pass up.

Jake, love the Expos play....a lot of people don't realize Ohka had a no-hitter going against Toronto last start.....at that point Toronto was the hottest hitting team in the league....love the value.....capped it at +135
