SSI's Plays for Friday (a 5 pack today)

guys we dropped our big 5 unit play last night, which runs our record to 23-8 (+$7400).. however we did go 3-2 on the evening, so it wasnt a complete disaster.. betting baseball is a grind, a marathon-- more than a sprint. I try to lace em up each day and grind em out.. todays plays, which are all for 1 unit by the way:

Cubs(+1.00) clement/redman. $100 to win $100.

AZ(-1.25) batista/lawrence. $125 to win $100.

Col/SF over 8.5 runs(-1.20) brower/oliver. $120 to win $100.

Texas(-1.10) valdes/gonzalez. $110 to win $100.

CWS -1.5 runs (-1.10) burehle/roney. $110 to win $100.

too tired for a write up, but be glad to answer any ??? on the selections.

for those of you that want to know about the WSOX, i almost never do run lines.. however, i promised (myself) that id bet buerhle until he lost for me, he has made me $1500 his last 3 starts. i couldnt lay over 2:1, so this was the only way that i could take him.. im not saying i like the bet or not, i stated this last time he pitched,, its personal.. i must play him until he loses..

first off and its not fair to say, but i have a good feeling that the cubs will win this game, starting pitching has kept the cubs in the race thus far.. clement coming off a strong outing last time out, he is 5-1 against his former team, sosa is heating up... against lefties on the road, the cubs are 7-3.. basically its a strong righty in clement, along with sosa and alou and maybe karros -- against a lefty, who is coming off a lousy outing... i really look for the cubs to have a decent second half and stay in things.. there is one other reason that i cant go into.. good luck in whatever you do, im sticking with the cubs in this one..

your only the man as long as your winning, after that your just another face in the crowd.. good luck tonight, i only hope to go 3-2 and make money,, thats what this is about, making money.. i can tell you this, im up over 5k now for the baseball season, it is noted in trk's 2nd column,,, this is not a bogus number either, as i play only $100-$500 per game, with most $100.. if i go down to zero in that 2nd column, then ill quit for the year, my goal is to get it to +100 units, thats $10,000 profit for me..

thats $10,000 for baseball, --- ive stated this numerous times,, i start each season of (MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL, NCAAF) with a $5000 bankroll allocated for each sport, always the goal of doubling the account,, i didnt quite do it in the NBA or NHL, although i did see an increase of roughly 50% for each bankroll,, what this means is that my $5000 turned into $7500 for each sport, thats an estimate because i got hot in the playoffs and did quite a bit better.. now i sit in baseball, a little over halfway through the season and my goal has been accomplished, i have close to $11,000 now for my bankroll.. this is not in one book, this is total bankroll,, in a few books and money that i bet with a local.. sorry for rambling but im bored again, as my wife and child are visting her terminally ill grandmother..

texas (loss), Cubs (loss) got shut out in both of those,, you florida guys were right in this one..... thank goodness that whitesox won by 2 or this could have been disaster,, still have Az pending and the 5 unit over play.. could still be a really good night or a disaster, dont think ill be awake to see the results....... in case anyone was wondering, i will be betting the wsox again, when buerhle starts his next turn,, they have made me $1600 now. i have to bet him until he loses..
