Guys,

I am heavily looking at the under, but I see a lot of posts saying/claiming OVER....

Woody has been plain great and Perez doesn't seem to give up TOO many runs per game...

Can we pull off an under here?

i am not very good at totals, most of the time, and i do not have a bet on this particular total.... but you asked me to telly you, why not under.. well the overs and coming in strong today, only a couple games all day have went under,, for me this means, stay with the over... number 2, 4 out of 5 games in this series have gone over the posted number in this one,, number 3, the cards could hammer perez.. now what you are banking on, is a strong performance of woody, probably holding the dodgers to 2 or less.. so look at it this way, do you think the cards can score 3, if they can,,, then your bet wont look so good.. i dont see perez shutting down the cards.. like i said, these are merely ramblings,, i dont have anything on this total.. just conversation here...

Easy reason. The Cardinals are one of the best teams at hitting lefties (as Perez is) and they hit him well just a week ago. Williams has been up and down lately even though he should pitch well in LA tonight. I'd stay away from the total and side in this as they are right where they should be.

Too often a line will reflect yesterday's news and the Dodgers only scored one run yesterday. They have been hitting well prior to that. I think they just ran into a buzzsaw called Danny Haren.

Too often we look at recent success of the pitcher to decide how he will do today. Woody allowed only 1 and 2 earned runs his last two games but those were against the Cubs and Padres, respectively, and those are two clubs which were struggling at the time. In his 5 games prior to that Woody gave up 5, 5, 1, 7 and 5 earned runs.

I believe the Dodgers will find their bats tonight to make it a close line at 7.0 runs, but keep in mind I'm a Dodger fan so I am biased.
