My pet theory is that odds are based in large part due to either a pitcher's or a team's most recent games. That's why we have such a low o/u of 7.5 in this game.

Zito only gave up 2 runs and 0 runs in his last 2 appearances. However, he had struggled in games previous to that.
Oakland has scored 4-6-10 runs in the last 3 games while Seattle has scored 5-4-10 runs in the last 3 games. Both Zito and Franklin will have to have good performances in order to keep the run total under 7.5. Even if Zito puts in another good performance look for Franklin to give up 3 or 4 runs and the Mariners' bullpen to give up another 3.
