TRK: RE: MLB CHALLENGE

Let me first state that I am not affiliated with anyone who I deal with at the RX or in the Challenge.
Let me also state that because I am posting this Challenge on THERX I will abide by their rules even though i do not agree with them.

I having been posting this challenge for 2 years now,In that time I never requested that it be sponsered by THERX(as far a prize for the winner),I have never requested that anyone fill in for me when I was on vacation,I have done this whole entire gig solo(which is how I like it).
in my opinion the challenge is here to help people win(thats the bottom line).
Dogball has posted over 400 plays in the challenge(I have taken the time to grade over 400 of these plays),HE IS NOT ALLOWED TO POST ANY LONGER HERE,So what should I do not count his plays any longer because the RX and DB had a falling out? If I am truly here to help people win than why does it matter where I get DOGS plays from (if he is not allowed to post here any longer!
Does THERX honestly think that because people are dropped from the Challenge that other poster are not going to look for their plays elsewhere?
As for JAKE ,I don't know what his reason for not posting here all the time is,But I do know that he is WINNING.
Maybe I am way off base here ,but my point is Why put me in a position like this ,when I am not sponsered by anyone?
Why make me stop monitoring a person based on the RX relationship with that person at that specific time.
To close I would like to say that I am not on the otherside of the fence,so I cannot fully judge with a clear mind the RX's position on this matter!
I am using THERX site to post the CHALLENGE ,so of course I will abide by the rules.
Patrick me and you go back a long way,and you have ALWAYS stuck by my side and I will not forget that,so please do not take this post as a challenge to you or THERX!
This is just my opinion and I felt I had to get it off my chest!

TRK,

Just one point... If the contest is to help people know who to follow, then you should only track the people who post their plays for the public. How can we follow people who do not post publically?

I see your point ,but if one looks around they will see that both of these guys do indeed post their plays public,so while they may not be found on this site,they indeed can be found!

My plays are post publically but I'm allowed by therx to post the link here. They are completely free all season and don't challenge therx as the site doesn't even have a forum, but alas, the mods have decided against me posting the link at all. If anyone wants the link to where my picks will be perminently the rest of the season, email me at ***

Just admit you are getting paid by Lifesabet to post plays only to their site. That's why you won't post them here.

Rooster, if you'll check the pick page of mine it states:

"Copyright 2003 Jake Thompson. All rights reserved.
Reproduction forbidden without permission from the author."

I can post the picks wherever I want to. It's my own decision to post exclusively there and no one elses.

Simply question why do you choose to do so? WHy should the RX give you free advertizing though TRks thread, when you post nothing of value here? Do you think posters come here to see what you record is? What good is a record without your plays?

Exactly, there must be an incentive for you to post at Lifesabet. If I was posting for free, why would I post at a place that gets 10x less hits than the RX? 2 possible reasons:

1) You ARE getting paid, copyright doesn't mean you aren't getting paid.

2) You are as dumb as a box of rocks

Well, because they said they would include the picks earlier this year and are apparently taking back their promise, which I'm not too fond of.

I have no idea. I'd say 90%+ that check my picks at lifesabet originated from here, and since lifesabet doesn't have a forum, I really can't see it stealing any people from therx.

Basically, it's therx's decision to not count the plays after okaying it at the beginning of the season. The top two people in the challenge will no longer be in it apparently. I think I've done what I set out to do; prove I can handicap. I'll start posting my record on the site I suppose. Good luck to all the remaining contest participants.

The Rx is not here to serve as advertising grounds for touts.

Yesterday you posted in the offshore trying to sell a sterio and today your are upset that we will not track your plays from another site.

Let me be as clear as possible. The Rx does not owe you anything and certainly not responsible for helping you sell yourself or your sterio. If these conditions are to tough for you to handle, then I am sorry. Move elsewhere if you need. Try Ebay for the sterio.

Come on, this is ridiculous and an obvious ploy by dogball to still be heard thru others, recordkeeper I know your tight with dogball as i was at one time...Don`t be suckered into thinking he`s not using you! Your just another free salesman for him.

TRK what do you think of him selling picks that he gave away here for free?

Always have done a fantastic job Keeper, but don`t buy his BS. Its just his way of still trying to use The Rx , the same Rx that let him breed here, the same RX that he tried to black mail!

Well, seeing as I've seen other people selling stuff, some with the blessing of mods, I didn't figure to be discriminated against on the subject. I know it doesn't belong but since the precedent was there I attempted. Also, the RX does not owe me anything. I said I'll quit the challenge and won't even post my plays here a couple times I week like I had been in the past. If you care about your customers getting even the occasional picks here, then allow me in the challenge. If not, they will have to find the site I post at. Either way, I'm satisfied. The top 2 baseball cappers so far this season are now not posting anything on the site. Kudos.

Maybe you'll have time to go out and get a job so you don't have to pawn everything your mom and dad gave you. Your baseball picks are pretty good, but your still in the poor house.
I still can't understand why you won't take a shot with your picks.

Journey I consider you a friend,you have always been kind and courtious in dealing with me ,and I do appreciate that!
You are correct I do like DB and JAKE,I am the kind of person that will like you until you cross me,and as of now neither DOGBALL or JAKE has crossed me in anyway.
I am not the kind of person who will NOT talk to someone because someone who I also associate with is not talking to them! I was always like that!Sometimes I do get burned by that way of thinking,however that is just the way I work.
My only point here is what good is this challenge when I have to drop two of the best cappers around,it just does not make sense to me at all,as far as the situation where no one can see the plays I have been given permission to post the plays for the games before they go off under my "Recordkeeper2" name(this permission was not given by the RX). So that would eliminate the idea that "what good are the plays if no-one can see them"
Once again I honor the RX decision ,But I DO NOT agree with it!
In my opinion this cheapens the challenge tremendously.
I am NOT an employee of the RX,you guys must keep that in mind.
