I'm mired in mediocrity as of late. I'll try to improve TRK. I promise.
YTD 11-8 (+3.24)
Baltimore +195 @ Yankees (Ponson,Clemens)
A couple of posters already have this one listed. Well, I want a piece of the action, too. Clemens gets these big numbers on name alone. He's a first ballot HOF and leads the league in K's, but over 2/1 is ludicrous. He's got a losing record at home compared to Ponson, who's 7-2 on the road.
Not only that, but Ponson has thrown three complete games in his last four road starts.
Baltimore's offense is nothing to sneeze at, with Matos and Mora hitting very well, and leadoff hitter Roberts hitting close to .400 against Yankee pitching.
If this same matchup lost ten times in a row at this number, I would still take it.
Well, maybe not ten.
Good luck,
Space.
