Is it just me or has anyone else noticed all the pitchers with low recent ERA's getting shelled??? Anyone have an idea why this is happening or is it a figment of my imagination? Or is it perhaps the normal statistical correction that happens in baseball?
I can only tell you a couple of rasons and they are both pretty obvious. The ball flys further in humid weather, and some of the pitchers are not use to pitching a lot of innings if they are young, and not built like CLemons and Brown.
