Memo to Kodiak7 (please read)

In all seriousness....

Kodiak7,

Do you really place the amount of money on each game like you post? If you are trying to make jokes and play games in here with all the units waged and quantity of plays....quit it. It's not worth it. You have definately lost the respect of many people, including myself, in here.

When I first came to the RX you were one of the first people that caught me eye and I began to follow your plays. You seemed to have a keen eye for capping games. But things have changed. I feel your capping methods have certainly changed and I am not sure what you are doing here.

Today you have 29 sepearate 50 unit plays and one 75 unit play. You have already lost most of the 50 unit plays today, laying an incredible amount of chalk. Yankees -210. Boston -205. You have the Dodgers -195 still pending. You won 6 of your 50 unit plays so far tonight but also have already lost 15 of them.

On the season you have a recorded amount of lost units equaling 2569 units! Thats more than a 1/4 of a million dollars lost so far. You make about 25-30 plays per night.

Once again, if this is just a joke, and I really hope it is, I beg of you to please stop playing around. Go post your fake plays in another forum or another site. But, if these are actually real plays with real money then please seek help fast before you throw more than just your money away.

I like to use picks from posters like Kodiak, Blacklab, and others and see if they match up with my own work (not that I'm any expert). When I get a match all the better, when I am on oppisite sides I will take a look and see if I may have missed something, I believe the best analysis comes from discussion from different posters who have different views of a particular game. Take todays Cub game I liked the Cubs and stated why in another thread. I wish Russ would have given his reasons why he liked the Phillies, but he chose not to. Another game was the O's game today several posters liked Balt. as a big dog, and they turned out to be a nice winner. The Giants game also got two sided discussion and is turning out to be q real tight ballgame, 2 to 2 top of the 9th with the Ariz, threatining. I quess my point is why not share insight when time allows, afterall we all want to beat the same foe - Bookies. Just my humble opinion.

People like Kodiak post for ego only. I don't think he bets or if he does, he bets really small. He posts big unit amounts to get "noticed" and to try and get respect. Things have gone south and he's chasing big. Throwing out 50 unit plays are a sign of a fraud and egotistical jackass.

Plenty of posters come here just to post plays and win money, but loudmouths like Kodiak and MFG have to try and outdo anyone by whipping their dick out and pissing in the wind with 50 unit plays.

Maybe I'm wrong, but Kodiak's strategy seems to be to mostly bet big favorites at both the moneyline and runline, and if he has a losing day, bet big favorites again the next day at doubled value and hope the high-percentage play comes through sooner or later. Looks and smells like Martingale, and whatever his capping abilities may be, that strategy is a big no-no. I too hope he doesn't actually play his picks as he posts them.

Using that martingalesque style that Kodiak does you are almost guaranteed to go bankrupt. The way people like him, continue to do it is they come up with stories about trust funds, etc so as to appear to have unlimited cash, this way no matter how much they lose they can always bet more to make up for it. I mentioned to Kodiak that he is down 2600 units and he told me, and I quote, “ look at the first column in TRKs standing” which I did and it shows him down 75 units!!! That is unreal how can you lose 75 units betting one per game, I have the answer, play all heavy favorites. I have another theory as to why he does this, he has T2W syndrome, neither T2W, nor Kodiak seems to understand that in baseball it is imperative to bet dogs. You can have a losing day and still build your bankroll. Kodiak in other sports where there is a pt spread rather than a line as in baseball does really well. I hope that he reads these comments and takes them as advice rather than criticism.

Just come out and admit that you're full of shit, what's so hard about it?

I don't exaggerate what i bet and i don't have the time or energy to post plays.

The thread has gone to exaggeration and I put an example of it. The post before mentions how some guys including MFG exaggerate. For some reason you keep deleting my post and I don't know why so I kept altering it to what I thought is acceptable.

None of this proves anything. Kodiak has his way, you have yours, MFG has his, I have mine. When you go to extremes to prove that a player is a fraud, lying, or cheating, it seems to me you are insulting the intelligence of the players here. We all see the same things you may. Many here are way smarter about betting and money mgmnt than me or you ever thought about being.

It is a pointless argument and will result in no good for anyone.

I am asking as nice as I can another time, please keep the insults in the RR.

my point for the last week is fairly simple.. raiders, rooster, joeydonut.. have put up some serious shit about me.. I have came in here for a long time and WON at nearly everything.. I decided to play as they stated I have.. HUGE plays, tons of games... I think anyone that watches knows how I play... Sure I lost in bases, yes I played huge units.. WHAT IS A UNIT??? a buck, 10 bucks 100 bucks ???? I'll play the entire card ml and runlines and over/unders.. fvck I really have never cared about my record just winning.. And win is what I've always done at every sport... This fued with the three jokers was just getting under my skin so todays postings were made..

You may have won at all other sports but don't you think it's time to drop MLB? You are getting crushed. I only say this because I have experience. I was down some 30 units in NBA and realized when I wasn't going to win. Keep whatever money you have left and save it for your good sports.
