OK, so since it's a slow news day I think I'll throw out a half-hearted bet, take it for what you will.

Glendon Rusch has lost 11 games in a row for the Brewers. So the pick in the Brewers/Mets game should be a shoo-in right?

Not so fast. I contend that Rusch is throwing well lately and the Mets' bats suck (unless you count having them score 5 runs yesterday against a pitcher who has down-right sucked also). Seo for the Mets has also struggled mightily in 5 of his last 6 games.

I predict the Brewers bats will pick up against Seo and Rusch will pitch well against the lame Mets. I take this one at:

Rusch has pitched well (despite one outing) since his minor stint. That would not be a bad value play. Watch out for the Crew's bullpen though. They have been just awful lately.

The best I could find overnight was Milwaukee +120. I think this guy mistyped the line...

I was getting greedy and taking -1.5. That's what I was getting at Pinnacle for the RL at the time. Sorry for not typing that in.

It's too bad Rusch didn't get the win in this ballgame. It's will be a good thing to put in a person's notes for the next time he pitches.
