THURSDAY BASEBALL......

0-3 yesterday, season is 57-53 -4.73 units. Going to keep plugging away, what hurts is the two leans I liked a lot (Tampa/Cleveland) I did not play. Both dogs and of course both won, when I make a decision it seems to be the wrong one. Pretty common when you are running bad.

CWS -125 Wagerstreet
Loaiza vs Snyder

Two things I hate about this play. First I am betting the White Sox will sweep the Royals on the road, hate to bet on a team to do that especially a good team like KC. Second and more important is everyone will probably be on Chicago. That scares me more than anything. Why am I playing it? Because of Loaiza, been on him almost all year one way or the other. If the price is too high on the side I play him under. Tonight we can get him at -125 so I have to ride him one more time. He's 13-5 with a 2.19 ERA, Snyder has a 4.54 ERA and a 1-5 record. Loaiza has pitched just as well on the road as he has at home while Snyder is 0-3 at home with an ERA over 6. At the plate the White Sox have even been hitting better lately, in their last 10 they have a .325 to .246 advantage and against righthanders the Royals have struggled even worse. The bullpen favors the White Sox as well and they have won 11 of their last 12 games overall. May add a couple of other plays to get to my standard 0-3 mark for the day.....

You'll be OK as long as Mush doesn't post in your thread. He did the same thing to Good Poster. He killed an 11-1 streak. GL on the White Sox.

I like it. I didn't give it as a play because I plan on watching this line closely and probably just picking up some free money if it goes to 150 or so like I expect. I love reading your write-ups. I can tell you are sharp and think it is just a matter of time until you streak.

Thanks guys, helps to hear positive things when you are getting your ass handed to you every night. Hope you are right Newspaper, I could use a good streak right about now. Very aggravating to be losing and I cap badly when I am aggravated.

Irish- You're a ball player and your not superstitious? I think if you did some research on the threads that Mush has posted in you may change your mind. I'm just glad that he's banned from posting in my threads.

The CWS is my main play today but am playing these as well for smaller amounts. They all count the same in the challenge (1 unit), just saying these are strong leans which if I don't play will all come in again.

I live in Tampa but hard for me to make a case for them to sweep anyone on the road. Each series between these two this year has gone 2-1, I think this one will as well. Hendrickson has pitched better of late and will keep them in the game.....

Cubs -120 Wagerstreet
Rueter vs Zambrano

Good fade material here, haven't been on the right side of a Cubs game since they started allowing women to vote. Rueter is struggling of late and Cubs have hit lefties better all year long. Zambrano can be very tough at times and has looked solid....

LA +122 Sportbet/Rio/Intertops
Perez vs Duckworth

Just a hunch play here that LA scores some runs. Bullpen can preserve a lead if they do get ahead while Philly's pen has struggled of late. Philly much prefers righties instead of lefties and have only gone 3-7 in Duckworth's last 10 starts. Will take the plus money here.

STL -135 Intertops
Williams vs Day

Williams 3-0 last 3 and Day 0-3. Cards hitting very well right now and have beaten Expos last 6 in a row. Pop always said fade a guy named Day if he pitches during the day so let's see if Cards can make it 7 in a row.

That's it men. Historically 7-31 has been a strong day for the Irishman if you believe in those kind of worthless trends, 2-0 last year and 1-0 the year before. I know I'm really reaching here guys but trying to be positive.

good luck pat i am with you on the cards....cards L10 ar hitting .323 off righties and as you say Day is not doing well as of late I got in at -138 I think it is still good

With you on the Chisox and Cards today. Think those standout. But somewhat hesitant to give the Rays an extra run. Because....You're in Tampa so you'll understand.

Odds on a Pinella curfew bed check on his young kids last night:

Any DRay out past curfew -300

may not matter at all but interesting to think about. This away day game should have a well rested team at least.
