YTD 14-11 (+4.25)
In a mini slump here. Play with caution.
San Diego (+144) @ Philly Game 2
(Roa, Silva)
I really thought the Pads had great value yesterday, but Millwood was unhittable. All things being equal, I would do it again.
Tonight I'm jumping back on the Pads in game 2 of the DH. Roa was released by the Phils in May after years in their system with no real shot at the bigs, despite going 14-0 with an ERA under 2, and earning best pitcher honors in the International League. He'll be trying to show them what they're missing out on.
The Phils should win Game 1 behind Wolf against a struggling Peavy (although the juice is WAY too high to play it). San Diego plays with a lot of heart despite their poor record, and the bats can hit with Philly's. I like their chances in Game 2.
Good luck,
Space.
