Went 9-3 for 8/2/03 for +6.38. That makes +13.26 for 5 days. I'm 8-2 on RL games and 11-3 on totals.

This is probably the last day I'll provide writeups on all the games. I'll just feature one or two games per day from now on.

Bal +1.5 -107
Helling/Wakefield
Here's another case of a team averaging 2 runs per game recently (Bos) while the opposing team is the underdog. It's hard to beat a team by 2 runs or more if a team isn't averaging that lately.

Min -1.5 -134
Roney/Santana
Another theory of mine is the flip-flop theory, otherwise known as the revenge theory. This is when a big favorite loses to a big dog (usually at home) and takes revenge on the next game. How many times can Det win 2 games in a row on the road, especially to a team that has beaten them 18 times out of 20?? Roney (Det) has sucked lately.

Tor/Ana under 9.0 -108
Escobar/Shields
Ana last 6 have played under. The under is 7-1-1 in the last 9 meetings between these two teams. Respectable pitching today with slumping bats for both teams leads to an under.

CWS +109
Beuhrle/Meche
I'm simply jumping on SSI's Beuhrle train.

CWS/Sea over 8.5 +105
The over is 10-4 in Sea's last 14. The over is 13-3-1 in CWS last 17. This is a case of having one team go over if the other can't contribute.

Az/ChCubs under 7.5 -115
Webb/Clement
The under is 8-1 in Webb's road starts and the under is 38-17 for Az on the road. The last 8 meetings between these 2 have been under. Decent pitching today for both teams while both teams have struggled with the bats. The only thing that could push this over is if Sosa hits a couple out.

Mil/Mon under 8.0 +103
Sheets/Hernandez
Livan sells cartoon balloons in town, no wait, that's an Elton John song. Both Livan Hernandez (Mon) and Sheets (Mil) have been pitching well lately. The under is 8-3 in Livan's last 11 starts at home.

StL -1.5 -113
Stephenson/Griffiths
StL just has too much more fire power than the NYM's while Stephenson (StL) has pitched well lately. The NYM's have lost the last 7 between these 2 teams. NYM are 1-7 while StL is 4-1. Let's hope StL's bullpen can prevent NYM from coming back again.

Hou/Fla under 8.5 -104
Fernandez/Redman
Going with the under here again. The last 6 meetings between these 2 clubs have all gone under. The last 5 games for Fla have all gone under. Redman has pitched well in his last 3 games while neither team has hit well lately.

Thank you General.

I'm having reservations regarding the Cubs game. I never know when they are going to break out. I guess that's why they call it gambling.
