The OVER in the Tampa Bay Devil Rays game squeaks by last evening. We have a full slate to choose from tonight.

100/X
31-23
+3850

Tonight:
3X-- CINCINNATI REDS +210
I made an agreement with myself to take advantage of this Dodger team when they are given too much credit and tonight is a typical example. I can not fathom laying this kind of number with a team that just doesn't score runs. I know Kevin Brown is one of the best in the league, but it does not make sense to risk big numbers on the chance he will be in a 1-1 game. Cincinnati appears to be a cast off team after their trade deadline moves. However, they have put a nice run of baseball together over the last week. I will put my faith in them tonight. Moreover, I like the way this game shapes up.

TRENDS:
Danny Graves in his career is 3-0 with a 2.31 ERA against LA.

The Dodgers are 6-7 YTD for -4 units and 18-30 L3Y for -21.5 units while playing with a day off.

All games at LOS ANGELES since 1997
CINCINNATI is 18-10 (+10.9 Units) against LOS ANGELES since 1997.

Games played at LOS ANGELES over the last 3 seasons.
CINCINNATI is 5-1 (+5.8 Units) against LOS ANGELES over the last 3 seasons.

Let's let the public love this one, I'll take the Reds.

Good Luck.

While I disagree with considering these trends, I agree Cincinnati is worth a shot here. Gluck

Adding:
2X-- DETROIT TIGERS +230
I have been going over this game all day. This is a gut feeling. I am going to bank on the fact that youngster Rich Harden will not bounceback as expected after his 3-1 victory over Cleveland last time out. Harden has pitched lights out since being called up, but tonight I believe he will hit a wall. Harden threw 109 pitches last time out. This is not a ton of pitches, but I believe it is enough to slow him down this evening. On the opposite end, Nate Cornejo didn't even get out of the first inning in his last start. Cornejo will be fresh and at home where he is comfortable. I am going to take a stab at the fresh arm tonight and look for Harden to hit the wall for the first time in his young career.

Good Luck.
