Like most of the dogs except Milwaukee. I am a big fan of ATL today. Mind explaining that? Franklin has struggled lately, the Braves hit lefties very well, and are hitting better than any team in the bigs. What makes you think today will be different?

Milw is 14-10 in Franklin's starts while Atl is 14-11 in Maddux's starts. Maddux has pitched less and less innings in each of his last 4 games going 9 then 7,6,5. I know that there was a rain delay last start so the 5 is a little misleading. The pen for Atl has an ERA of 5.86 in their last 10 games. In Franklin's last 8 starts at home he is 4-2 with 2 nd.

I don't see what that 5 inning game has to do with anything. He had a 67 pitch shutout going into the fifth. He would have one 8-9 if it would have continued. Other than the Montreal game where he only lasted till the 6th, he really hasn't had a bad start in his last 6 games.

I think you are underestimating what Maddux has left. We'll see what happens.

thoughts on PITT and MON?

I try to make a case for them, and keep thinking SF and AZ have big offensive nites, I'm leaning to a parlay.

I'd take MIL at +170.

Mon- In Ari last 10 games they have scored 2 runs or less in 7 of those games. Schilling hasn't pitched that great at home this year and Questec gets in his head at times.

Pitts- Tough game with Ponson pitching his first game for SF. I'm just hoping he's a little nervous.

that's the best I could come up with as well, I tend to think that AZ breaks out tonite with some offense, same with SF, best of luck.
