Nothing I liked yesterday, and not much today, but I feel there is one beefy dog worth taking a shot on.
Montreal +166 @ Houston
(Downs, Villone)
Won fading Villone his last start vs. the Mets, and I'll try it again. He's had a lot of trouble finding the strike zone, walking 13 batters in his last 16 IP. Montreal has also hit lefties well over .300 their last 10.
Downs is back from Tommy John surgery way back in 2000, and the 'Spos have stuck by him. Now he's back in the bigs, and if he doesn't throw his arm out after 18 pitches, he has a chance to repay them vs. a team that's scored 4 runs or less in 8 of their last 11 games.
It's worth a shot at least at this big number.
Good luck,
Space.
