Tonight:
2X-- KANSAS CITY ROYALS +170
They did it last night, why can't they do it again. Tonight, it may be more difficult with the Moose on the mound, but the Royals are definitely in a good spot here at this price. Kansas City views this series a little different than most others. The Royals look at themselves as the "have nots" vs. the almighty Yankees. This is a source of huge motivation in their clubhouse. Images like manager Pena giving his coaches strong high fives after the win last night illustrate that fact. Kansas City wants to show the world they can compete with the Yankees-- even at their payroll. Darrell May takes the hill tonight for the Royals. He enters with a 5-5 YTD record and a 3.65 ERA. He has very decent numbers against the Yankees in his career. He enters tonight with a 0-0 career record, but has a solid 1.04 ERA in 8.2 IP. Look for May to keep the Royals in the game. I think Sweeney being back in this line-up makes K.C. much more dangerous. They will not torch Mussina, but they should get enough to exploit that bullpen again. I'll take the + money at home.
Good Luck.
