Lots of baseball gurus were talking about them as one of the elite teams after the great trades they made right before the deadline. They struggled immensely in a huge home series against the powerful Baltimore Orioles losing 3 out of 4 in their home ballpark. It was a huge series because after that they were going out west for a tough west coast swing with Oakland and Seattle. Baltimore is also showing how good they are as they are about to lose three in a row to the mighty Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Let's hear it for those Red Sox!!!
