SSI's Plays for Wedensday (With Top Play)

Our top 5 unit play (Cards) cashed yesterday pretty easily, runs the record for 5 unit posted plays to 27-13 (+$6350). Todays top play is simply the AZ Diamondbacks (-1.65) Batista vs. Bale, Laying $825 to win $500.. do i really need to get into the why's.. 15 straight wins for AZ over the reds, AZ is the better team, AZ is the hotter team 7-3 last 10 vs. 3-7 last 10. AZ has the better pitcher going in Batista, 2.92 season ERA and 3-0 lifetime against a youngster making his first career start against the diamondbacks. AZ owns the season series 4-0 and cincy hasnt beaten them since may of 2001. AZ even has the better offensive club when considering hits and average. AZ still has a lot to play for and cincy is a team in shambles. Does this mean AZ will win tonight (of course not), but it does mean AZ(-1.65) is our play of the day.. entire card looks like this..

AZ(-1.65) for 5 units, laying $825 to win $500.

LA(+1.30) listed for 1 unit, laying $100 to win $130.
Col(+1.75) listed for 1 unit, laying $100 to win $175.
KC(+1.35) listed for 1 unit, laying $100 to win $135.
Bos(+1.45) listed for 1 unit, laying $100 to win $145.
CWS(+1.00) listed for 1 unit, laying $100 to win $100.

by the way our last 2 days of playing all dogs with winning records is sitting at 6-5 (+2.43 units).. the 1 unit plays for today are simply part of that system..

Az may lose tonight as nothing is a guarantee but it rated really high in my capping for that game.. hope we cash it as ive got alot at risk on that one..

SSI...Why so negative about Zona tonight? They have beat the Reds 15 straight times....you know the saying about winning and losing streaks. Ride the winning one till it loses, that way you can lose only once. trying to predict when that streak will end though???? You might as well waste you money on a 900 psychic call. Hey, I know some really good sports services who masqurade as a psychic line. LMAO! Go D-Backs!!!!!!

Sorry to rain on your parade on the AZ/Cin game SSI but trends are stopped during transition times and the introduction of a new pitcher fits the description of a transition game. This one falls under my "Fernando Valenzuela theory". That theory is when a new pitcher pitches against a team for the first time the new pitcher usually does rather well.

Bale pitched very well against the Padres his first time out, not giving up an earned run in 4 2/3 innings. I'm not going to say the Reds will win this game but I do believe they will make it close. The D'backs have not hit all that well on the road.

If I were pressed to bet on this game I would take the Reds +1.5 for -102.

Big Games, to each his own, and i liked cotts last night for the wsox for much the same reason.. your point is valid but it works better with a decent team and boy the reds are reeling right now.. we shall see..

Webb (AZ) has lost each his last 4 games by 1 run. Harang (Cin) is pitching relatively well. I'm getting +111 for a +1.5 RL for Cincy.
