The Arizona Diamondbacks have gone Under in twelve straight road games and with Randy Johnson on the hill tonight we expect that run to continue.

In fact here are the total runs scored in each of Arizona's last twenty road games...4, 2, 3, 10, 6, 2, 5, 9, 4, 8, 5, 5, 3, 4, 7, 7, 3, 2, 4, 5. That's an average of just 4.9 runs per game!

The Diamondbacks are 64-56 (.533) overall this season to be 9 1/2 games back from the Giants in the NL West.

Tonight they hand the ball to five-time Cy Young Award winner Randy Johnson who is getting better with each start following an injury interrupted season. He has now made five starts since returning from the DL and has won his last two starts to improve to 3-4, 4.42 ERA. The Big Unit's last five starts against Atlanta have all gone Under.

At 78-42 (.650) the Braves own the best record in baseball and lead the NL East by a whopping 12 games.

Shane Reynolds had won four of five starts before losing to the Cardinals Saturday. He was tagged with the loss despite recording a Quality Start allowing just two runs and five hits in six innings. Reynolds is 3-2 with a 4.47 ERA in seven career games versus the Diamondbacks.

The Under is 6-3 in games played in this series in Atlanta the last three seasons.

As long as the linesmakers don't over-compensate for the D'backs road Under streak we're going to ride this train until it's next stop.

Recommended Play: Under 8.5 -115

Good luck
Mike
