Tonight:
2X-- PITTSBURGH PIRATES/ ST. LOUIS CARDINALS under 9- /-110
Wow, what a slugfest last night-- to bad for the Cards it was one-sided. Tonight, they meet again in the deciding game of the series. Both starters enter with very solid YTD numbers. Cards starter, Woody Williams, enters 14-6 YTD with a 3.60 ERA. On the opposite side, the Buc's Nelson Figueroa brings a 2-0 mark with a 3.27 ERA in only 11 IP. This game shapes up to be very big for the home team. St. Louis has been in a funk the last few weeks and has dropped 4 of their last 5. Their recent woes takes the Red Birds out of first in the NL Central. They need to right the ship and they have their top pitcher set to steer tonight. Woody Williams is 0-3 with a 4.68 ERA over his last four outings. This gives the right-hander even more incentive to shut the Pirates down tonight. Pujols returns after his suspension and probably has forced this total up a tad. Look for a low-scoring affair tonight.

Good Luck.
