This could be a much stronger play for me if Tomo Ohka would have shown up to pitch in any of his last nine starts. Ohka has just one victory over that span. The right-hander has struggled mightily over the last two months of the season. He enters tonight 8-10 YTD with a 4.58 ERA. I expect him to rebound and pitch well tonight. Ohka has always enjoyed his outings vs. the Padres. He is 2-0 with a 2.65 ERA in 17 lifetime innings pitched against San Diego. He will be challenged by Brian Lawrence. Lawrence hates the Expos. He is 0-3 lifetime with a 9.24 ERA in 12.2 IP. Look for the visitors to hang another L on the fading Padres. San Diego is in the midst of a 6 out of 8 losing streak and the ball park is not a fun place for them. I'll back the Spos.
