A lot of teams had the day off yesterday and some of the teams switch from home to away or away to home. Spooky things occur when that happens.

Atl is 45-19 at home and has won the last 7 games between these 2 teams.

Prior/Stephenson
Prior is 10-3 on the road and has won his last 5 overall. His ERA is 0.58 in his last 3 games.

Schmidt/Oliver
Both pitchers are pitching well. Neither team has scored much lately including Col at home.

I cannot understand why this is at 10. Neither team has been scoring much lately and both pitchers have been pitching well. This is my play of the day.

A few thoughts on this total...

1)Dickey's best performances were against the Tigers, prior to that he had surrendered 16 E.R.'s in 29 IP (including 4 in 5 INN to the Royals).

2)The bullpen ERA's...

3)Absence of a solid closer in either BP

4)The wind is blowing out to right field

Thanks for the info. I was aware the pitchers have been banged up in the past. I just thought they shook that off with good performances of late.

I've been mulling around the over in the Oak game until I saw you had it too. Oak has done well on the road. I was spooked into thinking they might cool off now that they are at home but they do rather well at home. Baltimore scores more runs on the road.
