I am not able to post a new message in any forum but I am able to reply so I am piggy-backing my Sat picks on the end of my Fri picks. Go to the bottom for the Sat picks.

YTD: 103-85-2 +16.20
Last 6 days: 30-16 +9.61

NY Mets +123
Millwood/Trachsel
Is this a joke??? Philly is 1-9 in the midst of a long road trip with the team going 2-5 in Millwood's last 7 starts. The Mets went 2-1 against the Braves and Dodgers on the road. The Mets are 4-0 in Trachsel's last 4 starts. I would have gone for the -1.5 RL except the Mets are on the road. I'm going to be watching this series every game.

StL -145
Haren/Bale
Cin has lost their last 4 at home. They are 0-4 in Bale's last 4 starts.

Hou -153
Eaton/Robertson
Hou has gone 11-3 while Robertson is at home. SD is 3-11 against lefties on the road.

SD/Houston over 9.0 -116
SD is averaging almost 7 runs per game while Hou is averaging over 8 runs per game. Add them both up and they equal 15.

Col +1.5 +111
Vance/Brown
The Dodgers are 3-7 in Brown's last 10 starts.

Tex -116
Mays/Thomson
Min is 0-4 in the last 4 games Mays has started. Tex is 7-0 in Thomson's last 7 starts including shutting down a red-hot CWS team.

CWS -204
Buehrle/Robertson
Buehrle has pitched well lately and the CWS are just on a tear. The pennant race is the major difference here along with the weak Det bullpen.

Oak -1.5 -141
Kennedy/Hudson
Oak has won their last 7 with the last 3 being at home. Another hot team in the midst of a pennant race. Oak is 15-1 at home when Hudson starts.

Do not take this as critisim, I just don't understand part of your Phils/Mets write-up.

quote:
would have gone for the -1.5 RL except the Mets are on the road.

I believe the Mets are the home team and the Run Line is Phils -1.5 +127 - Mets +1.5 -137 (Pinnacle). Am I missing something.

Thanks, wil.

My mistake Wil. I should have said "the Mets are at home." I should have done some more proof-reading of my write-up. The Mets' RL is -1.5 +231. I was thinking about taking them but they only have 8 innings to score if they are ahead of the Phils in the middle of the 9th.

Feel free to make criticisms. That is a good way for me to learn. Rather that, than to go on bumbling around losing money.

Thanks, maybe at some point we can discuss run-line betting strategy. Right now it is getting close to post time. I am looking at the White Sox on the run line. -1.5 -133 or -204 on Money line. The Tigers are 2 and 13 last 15. Buherle is 2 - 0 with an ERA of .061 vs Detroit this year.
The Wsox are also looking for revenge for a sweep the Tigers pulled off before the All Star game. Robertson is making his 3rd career start for the tigers. He is a lefty and here is a key stat the WSox hit lefties as a team at .278 (.255 vs RHP). I checked the lineups and nobody key is out for either team. I could go on but no need to get to long winded. I look for a very hungry WSox team to win 5 or 6 to 2. GL. tonight.

I prefer to look at this series. At -200, if Detroit wins one game and the White Sox win 2 it's a break-even. Can the Tigers win 2 out of 3? They've been hitting well so it's possible but I'm betting on the Sox to continue being hot and winning at least 2 out of this series.

Saturday picks-

YTD: 104-92-2 +9.81

Yesterday I had a "market correction" kind of day. I should have known since it was the first game of a series for a lot of teams.

Mon -113
Hernandez/Pavano
Fla is not scoring well lately and they go against Hernandez who is pitching well.

NY Mets -104
Wolf/Glavine
Glavine has regained his form while Phi has gone 1-5 in Wolf's last 6 starts. Phi is on a long road swing.

LA -168
Stark/Ishii
Col is on a long slide while the Dodgers are 12-2 at home in their last 14 games.

Cle -106
Lidle/Westbrook
Tor is 1-8 in Lidle's last 9 starts.

Tor/Cle over 10.0 -118
Neither pitcher holding the runners on base. Both teams playing over recently.

CWS/Det over 8.5 -106
Garland/Maroth
Both teams scoring well lately while Maroth has not pitched well.

Mil +138
Kinney/Estes
Mil has gone 5-1 in Kinney’s last 6 starts and had a long winning streak prior to yesterday

Sunday's picks-

Mon/Fla under 8.5 -112 (I got that line last night)
Day/Redman
Montreal is 1-7 o/u when Day pitches on the road. Both teams have not been scoring lately and both teams are both going under the line.

SD/Hou over 9.0 -118
Peavy/Villone
Houston is 6-1 o/u when Villone pitches at home. SD is averaging almost 8 runs in their last 3 games.

Tor/Cle over 9.5 -119
Hendrickson/Traber
Tor is 8-2 o/u when Hendrickson pitches on the road. Traber is 6-1 o/u in his last 7. Both teams consistently going over.

NYY/Bos over 10.0 +101
Clemens/Wakefield
Bos is 39-24 o/u at home and Wakefield is 8-4 o/u at home. Each team is averaging at least 7 runs per game in their last 3. Both teams consistently going over.

Min/Tex under 10.5 -108
Radke/Dickey
Radke is pitching well and Tex is in a scoring slump. With the exception of his last game, Dickey is pitching well also.

SFG -122
Schmidt/Webb
This is a bet on Schmidt. SF is 8-2 in his last 10 starts while AZ has not given support for Webb. The D'backs are 3-7 in his last 10. SF has Barry back in the line-up.

Sea -182
Johnson/Moyer
Sea has won their last 5 games when Moyer starts at home. Bal has lost their last 7 games on a long road trip.
