Big games, I don't get into the preseason sports much. The NFL is strickly a numbers game for me. I have 4 different processes to handicapping each game and if 3 or more have the same conclusion it becomes a play. Try to keep my personal feelings out of it. This has worked real well for me the last few years. Hopefully it will continue. Thanks for asking.

I was thinking about using the same process of 3 out of 4 indicators for baseball. Up until now I've only been using 1 or 2 indicators and analyzing the game from there.

I'm getting tired of betting on a pitcher who has gone 1-11 o/u on the road and have him give up 7 runs in one inning. Or another team go under 10 out of 12 games and have them score 12 runs. The biggest "surprise" in baseball has been pitchers winning 9 out of 10 and then giving up a lot of runs in the first few innings.

I'll be spending less time on baseball and more time on other sports. I'll be watching your picks in the NFL.

Big games, dont ever give up on a way of thinking that works. You can modify it, but when you change it you are only second guessing yourself, and no handicapper can win when they do that. You were on the right side last night with the Arz under. They shut down SF like I expected and only because of a very rare offensive show by Arz did you lose. Make that bet every time and you probably win 70%.

Nova, my dad is a huge Boston fan so I am rooting for them. Still hard to put money on that team with that pen. I had the over today though and it sure is nice when they get to the number by themselves (quite often).

My NFL should be up within the hour or so. Looks like around 8 plays right now and I don't like that big of a card. I am trying to trim it as we speak.

You are right. My pick was correct. When 1 or 2 or even 3 picks don't go the way I think they should doesn't mean I should give up. I do plan on spending more time analyzing my plans rather than making picks.

This game can be won. Just like card-counting was shown to have an advantage in Blackjack, sports betting can have an advantage over the book. It just takes a strong ego to get past the failures. Persistence and intelligence are the keys.

Your advice to me will not be soon forgotten.
