To find good value lately, you do not have to look any further than the LA Dodgers. LA has won 10 of 12 and six consecutive. To make it even more inviting, they have been installed as a dog again tonight. The Dodgers will again try to keep pace in the Wild Card race when they face the D-backs tonight. Kazuhisa Ishii will make the start for LA this evening. Ishii enters 9-5 YTD with a 3.42 ERA. He has not won since returning from the DL in 3 starts, but for those types of ailments you bring familiarity to the pitcher. Ishii is 3-0 with a 1.45 ERA in five career starts against the Diamondbacks. I said it yesterday if the Dodgers get run support they win-- they have been getting just that. I'll stick with the streak here.
