2X-- DETROIT TIGERS/ NEW YORK YANKEES over 9/ +100
The final game of this must have series for the New York Yankees is tonight. New York exploded last evening on the heels of some horrible Tiger defense and timely power hitting. I expect much of the same story to be read here today. Roger Clemens will seek his 14th victory. He is 21-10 with a 4.04 ERA in 40 lifetime starts versus the Tigers. Nate Cornejo will counter for the Tigers. Cornejo is 6-14 YTD with a 4.40 ERA. The youngster will be making his first appearence against the Yankees. Look for a some nerves from the Tiger starter and that is never good against the stacked Yankee line-up. I expect this game to go over.
