Chicago-AP -- How hungry are Chicago fans for post-season baseball?

The Chicago Cubs say all 15-thousand of their playoff tickets sold out in a half-hour yesterday.

The tickets were snapped up by telephone and Internet customers. Their prices ranged from 20 dollars to 50 dollars apiece, but within hours one Internet site was offering them for resale at 500 dollars apiece.

A few days earlier, the Chicago White Sox sold out 22-thousand tickets to their two first-round playoff games in 38 minutes.

Some fans are dreaming of an all-Chicago World Series. With two weeks to play, the White Sox are tied for first place in their division and the Cubs are in second place in theirs, two games behind Houston.

The last World Series for the Sox was 1959. The Cubs haven't been in one since 1945.
