MadCapper, Best of luck to you. Fairly often i hear about the favorites and the chalk plays and it's always when they lose, not when they win. I am not keeping track of anything but maybe someone else is and i don't mind if anyone posts my record. To sum up Tuesday, Boston actually had it covered in the top of the 9th but Tampa Bay just had to keep trying and i'm very disappointed with Atlanta. That's falls into the category of "pissing the game away". I was driving down the road and in about the bottom of the 8th, the Braves were up 4-1 and the announcer said " there won't be a John Smoltz to save the game for the Braves tonight and i'm thinking, why did he say that?" I took that as a jinx. And sure enough. Good Luck on Wednesday!!!!!

I know what you mean Al, I feel like I get jinxed too it seems. Early this season it was a situation where all I needed was one more out. The announcer said "this is almost a given, XXX is 1 for 36 lifetime against the pitcher". Two pitches later the ball was in the rose bushes.
