This is an absolute "must have" game for the Chicago White Sox. The Sox missed a golden opportunity last night to take over first place in the NL Central. They gave the ball to their staff ace, Esteban Loaiza-- he could not get the job done. Tonight, they send Jon Garland to the Hill. Garland is 11-11 YTD with a 4.29 ERA. Garland is 2-2 vs. Minnesota this season and is coming off a strong outing which he lost last Wednesday. Garland went 7 strong innings, allowing 3 runs on seven hits in that outing. Expect another strong tilt from the right-hander tonight. Chicago will be very focused and ready. This may be their last shot to stay in the playoff race-- they must take advantage of it.
