Guys value lies in the Padres today. The Giants clinched last night and partied it up. Followed by a game this afternoon..I doubt the intensity lies within them to go out and play real hard today. No need to get hurt, and many of the regulars will probably sit. Jake Peavy goes for the Pads, he has had very little success vs the Giants but will be looking for revenge im sure. Ponson has looked terrible in his last few starts as well. I just think its a good spot to play the Pads at +170(SportBet).
