a nice 3-1-1 +2.31 day last night, fortunately pushed on the colorado game. Huge card for thursday!

Kansas +122
Lima is back from the IL and hopes to give the Royals a chance for the last push to win their division even though it's close to impossible. He has pitched twice this year against the tribe and has gone 7 innings deep in both of the starts and given up 1 and 2 runs in those starts. Kansas has hit lefties much better then righties in their last 10 games at a .326 clip. I don't think Sabathia is as good as a pitcher during the day as he is during the night time because of his weight and the heat factor that comes into play, he tends to get tired early and make location mistakes thus the play on the Royals.

Toronto -155
Now i am convinced that the Tigers have thrown the towel and don't care if they lose 120 games or not. Towers is going for Toronto and is posting a 1.14 ERA over his last 3 starts while Maroth's ERA is in the 7's in the last 3 starts. With the Toronto offense I don't think we got to worry about getting runsupport in this game. About 10 days ago Towers pitched 7 shutout innings against the Tigers and the reason i'm pulling the trigger on such big chalk is because he seems to be doing much better when pitching at night where he has a 5-0 record. Detroit is 8-37 in game 3 of a series, even tho i don't believe in trends, at least this one doesn't go against me.

White Sox -126
Their last chance to make something happen and play in the postseason, they lose this one they are done. Colon has pitched three complete games in a row and didnt give up more then 2 runs in either of the three games. Colon has had recent success against the Twinkies while Lohse has dropped 3 out of 4 against the Sox this year giving up an average of 5 runs in 5 innings in those losses. Both pitchers have OK numbers during the night, both teams are hitting righties the same in their last 10 and since we got the better pitcher going for us i feel it's worth taking a shot.

Florida +116
Am i missing something here? Willis has a 2.29 ERA in his last 3 starts compared to Millwood's 6.16 ERA. The Phillies have not hit lefties very well in their last 10 games and it is a good thing we got a leftie going against Thome who has been smacking the ball to every part of the field lately. As you might know Millwood has never done good against the Marlins, this year his team is 1-3 against them, while Willis has given up one run in 6 innings against the Phillies earlier this year. I am looking for 7 strong innings here by Willis and 4 runs should be enough for us to get the win here.

Dodgers -139
Marlins and Phillies keep splitting game giving the Dodgers a chance to gain some ground but they just don't seem to be able to win a game. Dodger games are won by pitching and we definitely have the in-form pitcher on our side right now. Alvarez has a 1.74 ERA in his last 3 games while Batista's ERA is at 9. Alvarez has pitched very good in his last 6 starts and he is fighting for a spot in the Dodger rotation for next year right now. Batista has had decent numbers against the Dodgers in his career and I am pretty sure this will be a low scoring game so having a better pitcher on the mound tonight should make the difference here. Let's hope the dodgers still have "hopes" to win the WC.

Mets/Expos Under 8 -120
Milwaukee/St Louis Under 10 -109
Dodgers/D'Backs Under 7 -126
