3-2 going into the ninth, so I figure it has to go into extra innings at 3-3 and then hope they both score the same number of runs each inning to get there.
Instead, Baltimore makes it 5-2 and then Walker hits a 3 run homer - amazing.
Walking Nomar was the whole key to that inning. Julio wasn't even close to the strike zome with Nomar and Nomar wasn't even the tying run.
I feel for you Curt, but if you play long enough, these things will even out - when it happens to me a month from now, I will say the same thing you did (i.e. I never ever win one like that)
