I find it hard to believe that Atlanta can be beaten twice at home in the playoffs.

Boston at Oakland UNDER 3.5 -115 (1st 5 innings)
Martinez/Hudson
Pedro vs. Hudson in a low-scoring start to this game. Each of the 3 games played yesterday only had 1 run scored in the 1st 5 innings. It's a playoff kind of thing.

And we all found it hard to believe that the Angles can win 3 in a row from the Yankees in last years playoffs

This is baseball, a very odd sport. Wild things can happen and the Braves can be beat twice at home in the playoffs. That's why we should never load up too much on one game.

That is also why we have to cap for what we see as being more likely to happen. I see it being likely the Braves will win this one.

MC:

Sometimes chalk can have value also. If you think a team has a 2 in 3 chance of winning, then anything better than -200 has value.

I don't know if it's just me, but i don't think capping is worth anything in the playoffs....it's a totally different game then in the regular season and one thing I can tell you that will win you money in the mlb playoffs is just to play every dog every night....there will always be upsets.....went 2-1 yesterday with about a 2 unit profit......good luck!

I agree with you bozzi that the dynamic of capping the playoffs is quite different from the regular season.

Good luck.
