Hit 2 of 3 yesterday...with wins on the Under Cubs and Giants on the ML...losing though on the Over Yanks.

So getting right into it..

OVER 7
GIANTS / FISH

Too low of a run total here...Ponson vs Penny...I have this game at a 6-4 game if not more....with these two on the hill either team could win....Go OVER on this Pup...

OVER 8.5
CUBS / BRAVES

Hampton vs Zambrano...if the teams can get 6 out of Woods and Ortiz, they can easily get 9 out of Hampton and Zambrano. Take the OVER here too.

Totally agree on the San Fran OVER. If it was 7 for Schmidt/Beckett, why is it 7 for Ponson/Penny?

Top to bottom, Fish have a solid lineup. Call me crazy, but I don't think Ponson is gonna throw a CG shutout like Schmidt did.

I agree, won't happen....

The problem with Ponson ...and it has plagued him his entire career is that is just isn't mentally tough. He lapses and most of this lapses are deadly...your 5 run inning lapse...

So he will struggle as will Penny who always gives up some big hit creating big powerfull innings...

I would not be surprised to see the Over reached by inning 5.....

I've noticed that many gamblers seem to suffer from "paralysis by analysis". Stats are good, but *too* many stats can cause confusion. I like to keep it simple. Here are some simple stats. Last 3 appearances by Penny and Ponson:

PENNY, 1-0, 15.2 IP, 4.60
PONSON, 0-3, 18.0 IP, 5.50

Nothing is a sure-bet, but the Over 7 looks good to me!

Not to mention the ball carries better in the daytime at PAC BELL PARK than at night. I expect the fish to get on a lot and then put the pressure on the Giants. Lot's of hit and run today boys! OVER 7!!!!!
